Peggy looks pretty comfortable and I didn't even any notice proportion issue. (I still don't!) I also like Anna's expression when she's looking at you, ha!

Proportions on people and perspective is so dang hard. I almost want to stay in my unknowing art bliss and leave it as my artistic style😂

Thanks! Yeah, I tried a few different expressions before I nailed that side-eye. 🤣 I try not to worry too much about getting the anatomy exactly right, but if I were to choose one thing I’d like to improve about my art, I want to draw my characters a little more consistently. Just gotta keep practicing, I guess! 😁✨

How fun! I love “story reasons.” I need to make that my new mantra or something…like: “Mommy, why are you hiding in a closet with your notebook?” …”Story reasons.”

Haha, yeah there is some truth to it, right? 😅 Some things in life can't be explained any other way! 😁

So funny. And I think it reads well in terms of figures. Love Anna’s expression in the second to last panel.

Thank you! I think that side-eye is my favorite part, too! 🤣✨

I talk to my kid like this all the time.

Haha, that’s great! 😁✨ I’m glad I’m not the only one who gets overenthusiastic.

I'll echo Charlene's comment! Anna's expression is great! 🤣 Perfectly matches Pat's right before he says, very sweetly, "Okay, but can we just enjoy the movie?"

YES! That’s exactly the vibe! 🤣🤣🤣 Too bad once you start down the path of writing and understanding “story reasons,” there’s no going back! ✨

Thank you! It was a lot of fun to draw, too—I was snickering the whole time. 😅✨

Love this one! Your proportions are great. I felt like I moved right into the scene immediately and liked the punchline at the end. Nice job!!

Thanks so much! For as quickly as I drew this one, I agree it turned out pretty well. You know how it is—as artists we’re always the ones with the most critical eyes on our own stuff. 🤣✨
