Story Reasons
Sometimes I don't know when to shut up.
One of the best things about putting yourself in a comic is you get to make jokes at your own expense.
I admit it: I’ve seen the “Really, Josh?” look more times in my life than I can remember. I’m a talker! And sometimes I talk a little too much! 🤣
This was an interesting one to draw. I like the idea of Peggy lying on the floor in front of the couch, watching a movie with us. However, I clearly need more practice on proportions and drawing people in a sitting position. Oh well, can’t learn if you don’t try, right? 😅
Okay, seriously, I’m going to stop trying to be profound now.
Hope you’re having a good week! Keep on being awesome, stay creative, and don’t let a little challenge get in the way of your greatness!
…you know, for story reasons. 🤣🤣🤣

Peggy looks pretty comfortable and I didn't even any notice proportion issue. (I still don't!) I also like Anna's expression when she's looking at you, ha!
Proportions on people and perspective is so dang hard. I almost want to stay in my unknowing art bliss and leave it as my artistic style😂
How fun! I love “story reasons.” I need to make that my new mantra or something…like: “Mommy, why are you hiding in a closet with your notebook?” …”Story reasons.”
